Moving On: But, How to??

We live in a world where Bollywood has conditioned our minds with happy endings. But, it never answered, what after that happily ever after? 

See, life is not easy and so are relationships. When two people decide to be together and promise to stay, through thick and thin. Then, they both became a priority for each other and often try to do those things, which make the other person happy. Being in a relationship we start to live for the other person. 
But, when life gives the reality check and that bubble of good things burst out. It seems like a nightmare that has become true. All those promises have no meaning, those life moments have become a memory and eventually, we realize that we have invested our time, emotions, love and whatnot, in something whose balance is zero. At that point in time, we feel devastated, because we have planned all our life around that one person only and everything has come to an end now. 

“We all say that the the most devastating thing that can happen with any individual is when you lose someone whom you love a lot, but worse than that is when you lost yourself.”

Now what you can do or you should do as an individual to heal yourself and to move one step ahead in life, is to work on yourself. Find the real you, which you have lost in order to find love and be a stronger better person. Be the best version of yourself, and to do so you can follow these ideas.

First thing first, accept that everything is over and the actual loss is of the other person, you have lost someone who was never yours. But, that other person has lost someone who was only his/her. You have tried a lot to save that, but it was supposed to finish. Don’t hold grief in you, let it go. To let go, cry as much as you can for one final time and leave everything there. Give a fresh start to yourself.

The next thing what you have to do is to start working on your own self because this is the best time to unleash your inner power. Put that whole anger and frustration into something positive. To do so, start doing gym or any other physical activity, such as swimming, running or a sport, because it releases dopamine that is the same hormone which releases from eating chocolates, but naturally. You will feel like, I can conquer the world and use that energy to achieve your dreams.
Furthermore, get a hobby weather drawing, writing, cooking, singing, playing, anything you always wanted to do but wasn’t able to. Take out time for your physical and mental health. Moreover, it is high time now; start focusing on your carrier. Get any work from home assignment, if you can. Join any new courses, start preparing for any exam. Decide what you want to do in life and plan that.

And the most important thing is, start spending time with those who will never leave you alone, your family and friends. Sit with them and talk, share your grief or go out to eat something. Start doing old things, that you used to do in past. There was a time when you were single and happy, because of those people and you can be happy again.

The change will not come in one day. You constantly have to fight for it and you will start feeling good eventually. But, the thing is, you have to be willing to grow and life will allow you to do so. Start from very little, but start. Take your time, go on a slow phase and this whole process you will laugh on yourself while thinking about this.
And finally, when you have healed, you can start finding love again because there will be one person who will love you as you. Believe in the power of this universe and everything will start falling in places.
